Thursday after noone

All assembled except as afore. The whole howse declared
th^l. it was never intended or is now intended by the howse,
That in the oath of secresy any thing is ment to infringe
Liberty of Conscience & Religion, whereuppon m^r: ffenwick
was sworne as the other Burgesses
The Gou^r appoynted the former Committee to take their
Certify againe into consideraon & to renew the same, & if they
see any cause of alteraon or addition thereto to proceede there-
in, & to certify by Saturday morning.

The howse adiorned by the Speaker till tomorrow morning
8 clock.

Burgesses all assembled except as yesterday.

was read the Certif^t & Declaraon of the Committee con-
cerning the 16 Lawes, & their proceedings thereuppon, con-
cerning the Act for the punishing of certaine offences &c:
now in debate, agreed by all that the Act bearing the same
tytle the last yeare shall now passe. And instead of the Act
That all Accomp^ts accompt uppon oath: A new Act bee
drawne up & psented to the Vpper howse, imposing a penalty
or forfeiture uppon false Accomp^ts

The howse adiorned till 3 clock afternoone.
