soe manie hogsheads of Tobaccoe againe & tht all the Pro-
visoes in the former Act remaine in force to wch this house de-
sires the Concurrence of the Upper Upper house. —
Whereupon a Message was dispatched to the Lower house
to Know of them Whether they intended the Allowance for
Tobaccoe lost or taken shall now take Place or after the Lord
Proprietrs death Voted by the Lower house tht it is the Intent
& meaning of tht house tht it shall take Place Presentlie Other-
wise noe Act for 2s p hhd to Passe during his Excelencies Life
according to the above Proposall
His Excelency Retornes Answr tht he doth not thinke fitte
to Accept of the sd 2s p hhd on such termes

The House is Adjourned till 9 of the
Clock to morrow morning

On Thursday the ffourth day of June the House mette

Severall Acts Read Passed & sent downe to [the Lower]
House to be Engrossed
The Oath of a Privie Councelor to his L[ordship & of one]
of his Lops Justices of the Proall Court w[as admini]stred &
taken by Colonel Nathaniel Utye

The House is Adjourned till [two of]
the Clock in the Afternoone

The House met Present the Capta [Genll] Chancelor,
Secretarie Mr Tru[man] Mr Taylor, Colonel Utye

This House Recd by Cap. Boreman & Mr W[eekes] a Vote
of the Lower House as followeth vizt Voted tht a Message
be sent to the upper house to Acquaint them tht Captaine
Loyd Cap. Burgesse Mr Dent Mr Hambleton & Cap. Howell
are by this house appointed a Comittee to make up the Accots
of the Publick & draw an Act for the same & to desire his
Excelencie to know Whether his Excelency and Upper house
Please to Appoint anie members of their house to Joyne wth
the sd Comittee of this house to make a Comittee of both
houses to Jnspect the Accots aforesd & if they Joyne anie then
to send their Names
Ordered by this House tht Mr Truman & Mr Taylor be de-
sired to Joyne wth the members of the Lower house Appointed
to be a Comittee to make up the Accots of the Publick
