mins Contractor for provisions for the Regular Forces of this
Province two thousand Pounds common Money.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Major Thomas
Williams eighteen Pounds common money for the use of
William Thomas for his Services as Adjutant 3 months to the
25th Battalion to the 5th instant.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to George Gordon
twenty Pounds common money for Gun-Carriages.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Major Thomas
Price one hundred and twenty two Pounds nine Shillings and
nine Pence for Cloathing &c. for the Troops.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Major Price two
hundred and fifty Pounds for the Purchase of Rifles.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Dr Michael Wallace
eighten Pounds four Shillings and six Pence for Medicine
and Pay as pr Account filed.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Capt John Hoskins
Stone seventy one Pounds three Shillings and four Pence, the
Amount of his Account filed.
The Proceedings of the Committee of Observation for
Caroline County against Cornelius Hogans, together with the
said Cornelius Hogans in Custody were transmitted to this
Board; which being read, It was thereupon Ordered that he
be committed to the Custody of Guard to be appointed by Col.
Smallwood until the further Order of the Council.
Ordered that the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Lieutenant Benjamin Ford twenty three Shillings and a penny
for Expences incurred in guarding Powder to Bladensburg.
Ordered That the said Treasurer of the Western Shore pay
to the Committee of Observation for the Middle District of
Frederick County one hundred Pounds common money on
Account of the Prisoners from North Carolina.
Adjourned till next Day 10 O'Clock.

Honourable Gentl Inclosed are the Proceedings of the
Committee of observation for Caroline County against Cor-
nelius Hogans, who is sent under the Guard of Capt Jos:
Richardson & five men.
