Acres of Land in a neck called Plum Point Neck in a mannor
of his Lordships (whereof no name appears upon Record)
lying upon the East Side of Shennon River in New Ireland
Hundred in Cecil County which Lease I did promise him
upon his quitting to me in his Lordships Behalf his preten-
sions to a Seat of Land in his Lordships Mannor of Baltimore
upon Elk River into which Seat (now occupied by Wm Mans-
field the said Walmsley had intruded; upon which Promise
and in Confidence of which Lease the said Walmsley in his
Life time Seated a part of the said Plum Point Neck in
Shennon River aforesaid and his Widow since his decease
continues her Habitation and Improvement on the same
but hath not yet any Lease And I further Remonstrate
unto your Honours that the like Promise was passed
by me to one Humphry Kitley a Cooper of the like
quantity of Land in the same Neck without any previous
Relinquishing of any other Claim therefore I humbly
request your Honours that the said Kitley being already
seated upon the said Mannor in Shennon River aforesaid may
have a Lease for his said 200 Acres for 21 years upon
common mannor Rent and Conditions and since the said
Neck Contains 500 Acres in all and that the said Widow
Walmsley has many Children able to Work and Improve
Land I farther humbly pray your Honours to grant her the
like Lease of the remaining 300 Acres of Land with Special
Order to the Surveyor to lay out both parcells according to
the latest orders Viz. at 30 Perches Brest Line to each 100
Acres it being so most for his Lordships Advantage These
matters are humbly offered to your Honours Consideration by
Honoured Sirs
