     Revenues Dutys and Imposts arising within the prcincts Lib. H. D.

     aforesd To have hold Exercise and Enjoy the sd Office and

     Employmt of our Receiver of our sd Revenues duties Imposts

     and proffits within the sd precincts together with the sd ffee

     or Salary of one hundred pounds p Annum for & during our

     Pleasure and lastly we doe hereby Authorize and Require our

     Govr of our sd Province And all other Officer & Ministers

     whom it shall or may Concern to make allowance of the sd

     flee or Salary of One hundred pounds p Annum to the sd

     George Plater according to the true intent & meaning of

     these prsents without any further Warrt or direction in that

     behalf Given our Court at Whitehall the Eigth day of Janry

     1691: In the Third year of our Reign.

     Esq Our Collectr and Receiver of our Revenues within the

     precinct of Petuxant River in our Province of Maryland.

    

    Mr Platers Whereas by our Commission bearing date this

        Instructions for being Collr day We have thought fit to Constitute and ap

    

     & Recr of point you the sd George Plater to be Collectr and

     Petuxon District Receiver of our Revenues within the precinct of

    

             Petuxant River in our Province of Maryland in

     America.

      You are Carefully and dilligently from time to time to

     gather Collect and Receive, all Revenues, dutys, Customs and

     imposicons whatsoever arising or becoming due to Us or our

     Government within the sd Precinct.

      You shall not directly nor Indirectly either in your own

     name or in the name or names of any other person or persons

     or in Company or Partnership with any other, Trade as a

     Mercht for your Self or as a ffactor or Agent for any other in p. 126

     or for any Goods Wares or Merchandizes whatsoever.

      You shall constantly make and give unto our Governr or

     Comandr in Cheif of our sd Province for the time being and

     to Wm B!athwayt Esq Serveyor & Auditr Genll of our Reve

     nues in America & his Deputy a true and just Accot of all

     such Revenues Customs or Imposts so to be by you Received

     or otherwise accruing unto Us & our Governmt within the sd

     Precinct, and of yor issuing thereof as often as he or they shall

     demand the same, and you shall duly answer and pay all such
