Ordered, That the Clerk of this Board be allowed as fol-
lows Viz. For his Salary as Clerk to the Commissioners for
the Sale of His Lordship's Manors & Reserved Lands from
the 20th Novr 1767 to the 5th of April 1768 Curryy a £80.

For the use of an Office from same time to the

For his Salary as Clerk to this Board from the 5th
April 1768. to the 25th March 1769 a £80. p

For Horse hire to the Sale of the Manors since
the 20th Novr 1767 & for settling the Accounts
with the Several Purchasers of Land & Post-
ing His Lordship's Books until that Business

The Honble Walter Dulany, Esqr

Docr Charles Neale attends the Board in order to obtain an
allowance for a charge made against him, by the Steward of
Conocochege Manor, for Rents on a Tract of Land before he
was in possession thereof, as also for the Sum of £5..8..o Strg
paid October 7th 1762, to Samuel Magruder, employed by Colo
Samuel Beall then Steward to receive the same & not credited
in Account. On examination of his Lease & other Papers, the
above Claims appearing just, the same is allowed, and on ad-
justing his Account to the 1st Day of August last there appears
the sum of £7..0..1 Strs due His Lordship which he is ordered
to pay to the Agent & Receiver General.

His Excellency lays before the Board a Petition from
Thomas & Elizabeth South, setting forth that they had en-
tered into a Recognizance for their appearance at Frederick
County Court in the sum of £20 on a charge of Bastardy
against the said Elizabeth; that through Ignorance they had
forfeited said Recognizance, as they apprehended on payment
of the Fine & all Costs, which they had complied with, they
should not be obliged again to attend Personally, and therefore
pray a remittance thereof. The Board are of opinion, that
on a Certificate's being produced from the Clerk of Frederick
County, that the above Fine & Costs have been satisfied,
