Sent by Phile Lloyd Esqr who returns & says he Deliv-
ered it

By the Upper House of Assembly Novr the 6th 1725.
Gentlemen.
We desire you would send two of the Members of Your
House to see the Act for the payment and Assessment of the
publick Charge &ca Sealed that it may be sent to your House

in order to be presented (with the rest of the Laws) to his
Honour the Governour for his Assent.

Sent by Phill Lee Esqr who returns and says he deliv-
ered it.
And thereupon Capt" Dashiel and Hooper from the Lower
house attend in the Conferrence Chamber and see that Law
Sealed after which it is carryed to the Lower House by the
said Dashiel and Hooper.
Colo Holland is sent to the Lower House to acquaint the
Speaker and the whole House that his Honour the Governor
requires their Attendance in the Councill Chamber im-
ediately.
Who returns and says he Delivered the Message.
Whereupon Mr Speaker and the whole House attend ac-
cordingly and Mr Speaker presents to his Honr the Governor
the following Laws which were Signed and Assented to (on
behalfe of the right Honoble the Lord Proprietary of this
Province) by his Honr the Governt and Sealed with his Lord-
ships great Seal at Arms viz.
No 1 An Act for ascertaining the form of the Oath of
Judge or Justice
No 2 An Act to prevent several Irregularities Com-
plained of by the people called Quakers
No 3. An Act to restrain the ill practices of Attorneys and
to prevent their taking Money fees and Ascertaining what
fees shall be allowed to Practitioners in the Law who shall
attend the Circuit Courts.
No 4. An Act reviving the Act for better relief of poor
Debtors
No 5. An Act for Destroying Squirrels and Crows
No 6. An Act for Relief and Release of poor distress'd
prisoners for Debt.
No 7. An Act for relieving the Inhabitants of this prov-
ince from Sundry Aggrievances they lye under Occasioned
