The Act Entituled an Act to prevent the Infection & spreading
of the Smal Pox from a Vessell belonging to Amos Woodward
Merchant being Signed & Assented to before, was Signed and As-
sented to on behalfe of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary
of this Province by his Excellency the Governour and sealed with his
Lordships Great Scale at Arms.
The Titles of which Laws are as follows Viz.

N^o I . An Act Impowering the Justices of Calvert County to Levy
on the Taxable persons of that County any Sume of Tobacco not
Exceeding Ten Thousand pounds of Tobacco to pay for the finishing
the Court House of the said County.
N^o 2. An Act for the Continuance of Process in Baltemore
County Court.
N^o 3. An Act to Encourage the makeing of Linnen Cloths within
this Province of Flax or Hemp of the Growth thereof.
