shall be Intermitted and that in that time the Bill be Laid on the
Table for the perusal of all the Members unless on very Urgent
Occasions, Mr Speaker with the Consent of the House shall Dispence
therewith and then One Bill being read twice at One Sitting shall
be as Sufficient as if read several Days when so Entred in the Clerks
Journal.
5th That no Person shall Come into the House of Assembly
whilst the same is Sitting with Sword or Other Weapon On penalty
of such Fine as shall be Imposed on them by the Speaker not Exceed-
ing Five Shillings for Any offence
6th That if Any Member shall be absent at the Hours and Place
Appointed after the Number of Twelve of the Members with the
Speaker are met according to the Order for Sitting he shall be Fined
at the Discretion of the Speaker not Exceeding Five Shillings for
Any offence.
7th All Misdemeanours which shall Happen in the House shall be
Censured and fined in the House
8th That no Bill shall be Read at Any time during this Session
Until all the Members in Town be called in Except on some Excuse
to be Admitted by the Speaker.
Resolved that the Hours of Sitting be from Nine of the Clock in
the forenoon Untill Twelve and from two of the Clock untill Five
in the afternoon
Mr Warfeild ordered to Acquaint the Reverend Mr Humphreys
this House desires him to Read Devine Service in the Forenoon and
afternoon during this Session.

return and Say they Delivered the Same.
Ordered that Mr Speaker issue his Warrant to the Secretary to
make Out a New Writ of Election.
Directed to the Sherriff of Cecil County to Elect a New Member
to Serve in this Assembly; in the Room of Col Ephraim Augustine
Herman, who Died since the Last Election.
George Plater Esqr from the Upper House Delivers Mr Speaker

The Resolves of this House in the Year 1725 being now Read
are agreed to Except where alterations are made in them by Express
Acts of Assembly: and Whereas it is Contained in the said Resolves,

that the Clerk of this House shall Sign all proceedings, as Clerk of
the House of Delegates, and in No other Manner; Upon which some
Disputes have formerly Arisen between the two Houses of Assembly.
For prevention of Any Dispute which may Retard the Dispatch oi
publick Business it is now resolved that all Proceedings shall be
