Bill Entituled an Act for the releif of Isaac Tunney &c. Indorsed
Read by the Upr House of Assembly the second time and will pass
which Bill was here read and passed for Ingrossing. The following
Message was sent to the Upr House by Col King and 5 more [See

Thursday Morning April the 8th 1736.
The House met according to Adjournment.
The members were Called all present as yesterday Except Col
Mackall.
An Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town in Kent
County on the South Side of Sassafras River on a Tract of Land
Called Tolchester at the place where the ferrey is now Kept. An
Ingrossed Bill Entituled An Act for the further Assessment of
20000ll of Tobo on the Taxable Inhabitants of Durham Parish in
Charles County to be applyed to the finishing a new Church. In
the said Parish already begun to be built. An Ingrossed Bill En-
tituled an Act to alter the times for holding the Assize and Provin-
cial Courts and to Appoint the said Courts to be held at the times
therein mentioned.
An Ingrossed Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the Act
Entituled an Act for the Tryal of all Matters of fact in the Countys
where they have arrisen or shall arise the Continuance of Causes in
the Provincial Court and Adjournment of that Court and for Con-
tinuing the Same.

An Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act Enableing the Commissioners
or Trustees of the Paper Currency Office to pay to the representa-
tives of Several Countys The Sum of 500ll An Ingrossed Bill En-
tituled an Act for building a publick Goal In Annapolis and an
Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act to prevent the false Packing of
Tobacco and Concerning the Tare of Tobacco hhds Severally read,
Assented to and Sent to the Upper House by Col Hooper and Major
Sprigg, Together with the paper Bills thereof. On Reading the
Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act ascertaining the Gauge of Tobo
hhds &c. the Question was put that the Said Bill be assented to Re-
solved in the Negative
