ACTS


At a Session of Assembly begun and held at the City of Annapolis,
the 20th Day of April, in the twenty second Year of the Dominion
of the Right Honourable Charles, absolute Lord and Proprietary
of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon, Lord Baron of Baltimore,
&c. Annoq; Domini 1736, and ending the 6th day of May following :
The following Laws were enacted and Assented to by His Excellency
Samuel Ogle, Esq; Governor.

An Act Reviving and Continuing an Act of Assembly of this Prov-
ince Entituled An Act for the Speedy recovery of Small Debts
out of Court before a Single Justice of Peace.
Be it Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary
by and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordships Governour
And the upper and lower Houses of Assembly And the Authority
of the same That the above mentioned Act Intituled an Act for the
Speedy Recovery of small Debts out of Court before a single Jus-
tice of the Peace Made at a Session of Assembly begun and held at
the City of Anapolis The Eleventh Day of July Anno Domini One
Thousand Seven Hundred And Thirty two be and is hereby revived
and Continued To be and Remain in full Force for and During the
Term of three Years from the End of this Session of Assembly
And to the End of the next Session of Assembly which shall happen
after The said Three Years.

An Act to Continue an Act Entituled An Act for Raising a Duty
of Three Pence p Hogshead on all Tobacco Exported out of this
Province for the uses therein mentioned.
Whereas An Act of Assembly passed at Anapolis at a Session of
Assembly held there The Eleventh Day of July in the year of our
Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and thirty two Entituled
an Act for Raising a Duty of three Pence pr Hogshead on all Tobacco
Exported out of this Province for the uses therein mentioned which

said Act was Continued by another Act made at a Session of As-
sembly held at Anapolis the thirteenth Day of March in the Year
of our Lord Seventeen hundred and thirty two Entituled an Act
to Continue an Act for Raising a Duty of three Pence p Hogshead
On all Tobacco Exported Out of this Province for the uses Therein
mentioned And Whereas This Present Generall Assembly as Well
to testifie their Affection and Regard for his Excellency Samuel
Ogle Esqr our Governour as our Gratitude for His just Admin-
istration during his Government And Desirous to Encourage
