pass, the following Proviso being Added between the words, next,
and, and, in the last line but three Provided Nevertheless, that no
part of the Publick Levy already raised, shall be laid and Assessed,
or no further Charges shall be allowed, levied and Assessed, nor
any apportionment, order or payment of the said Seventy pounds
Eight Shillings, shall be made as aforesaid, unless every such Assess-
ment, laying allowances Levying apportionment order or payment,
Shall be Approved of consented and Agreed to, as well by the Major-
ity of the aforesaid Members of the Upper house of Assembly wch
shall then be present as by the Majority of the Members of the
Lower house of Assembly which shall then be present. Ordered
to be so Endorsed, and sent to the lower House by John Hall Esqr
Adjourned till to Morrow Morning Eight of the Clock

April 12

May it please your Honours
This House hath taken Care to frame the present Levy Bill
agreeable to the form of all Bills of the same kind which have been
passed heretofore, and cannot but look on the Amendment pro-
posed by your Honours as an Innovation which this House is De-
termined not to Introduce upon this or any other Occasion, And
therefore desire your Honours if you intend that such persons as

have a demand on the Publick shall be Satisfied, to pass the present
Bill in the same form as other Bills of the same kind have passed

We now send to your house the Addresses to his Majestic and his

Royal Highness, Agreed to by both Houses & Signed by the Presi-
dent of this house, in order to be Signed as your House thinks fit,
that the same may be presented to his Majesty, and Royal Highness
by our Lord Proprietary
