The House Adjourns untill to Morrow Morning Eight of the
Clock.

Thursday Morning March 29th 1733.
The House met according to Adjournment &ca
A Bill Entituled an Act for the Assessment of so much Tobacco on
the Inhabitants of St. Stephens Parish in Cecil County as will build
them a New Parish Church & Chappel of Ease on Bohemia Manor
in the said Parish, Read the first and second time by an Especial
Order and passed & sent to the Upper House by Collo Ward & Mr
Wood.

A Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the Act Entituled an
Act for laying out a new 15 Acres of Land part of the One hundred
Acres of Land formerly Erected into a Town formerly called Bene-
dict Leonard Town upon Patuxent River in Charles County besides
the Lotts which have been already taken up Pursuant to the Direc-
tions of former Laws and to restrain the Inhabitants from keeping
any Stock except within their Inclosure in the said Town, was read
the first and second Time; by an Especial Order and passed; And
sent to the Upper House by Collo Hanson and Mr Hawkins.
An Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act to Impower the Inhabitants of
Ann arundell and Prince Georges Counties to make the Main Branch
of Patuxent River navigable &c. Read and Assented to. And sent
to the Upper House with the Paper Bill by Mr Beale & Mr Hammond
The House Adjourns untill Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

The House met according to Adjournmt &c.
Ordered that the Journal of the Committee of Accounts be closed
on Saturday next.
Edmund Jenings Esqr from the Upper House Delivered to Mr
Speaker the Bill Entituled an Act for the Relief of poor Distressed
Prisoners for Debt, Indorsed. Read the second time and with the
Amendments therewith Sent will pass. And the following Amend-
ments. [These Amendments are printed at page 21.]

The Petition of John Baynard and Elizabeth his Wife read and
referred for the Consideration of the next Assembly And ordered
that all persons Concerned have due Notice.
Ordered that a Bill to Continue the Three pence p Hogshead on
all Tobacco Exported out of this Province &c. be brought in to Con-
tinue three years.
