Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly
I return you hearty thanks for your kind Address and particularly
for your Assurance that the Subject of Arms and Ammunition for
defence of the Province and a proper Magazine for the security of
them shall have a proper share in your deliberations and you may be
Assured that I shall never recommend anything to you but what I
take to be for the real Interest of the Province Sam: Ogle

County Court Queen Anns County Court and Dorchester County

Which Bill was Read the first time and Ordered to lie on the Table
The House Adjourns to 2 of the Clock in the Afternoon

The House met according to Adjournment &ca
On Motion Leave Given to bring in a Supplementary and explana-
tory Bill to the Act for repairing the damages already Sustained in
the Records of the Land Secretary's Commissarys and County Court
Offices &ca and that the same be prepared by the Committee of Laws
The Bill entituled An Act reviving An Act of Assembly entituled
An Act for the Advancement of Justice &ca
The Bill entituled An Act for reviving An Act of Assembly enti-
tuled An Act for relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from
some Aggrievances in the Prosecutions of Suits at Law &ca
And the Bill entituled An Act for the Continuance of Baltimore
County Court &ca
Severally Read the second time by an especial Order and will Pass
On Motion that A Bill may be brought in to prohibit the Expor-
tation of Grain Ordered that the Committee of Laws prepare and
bring in a Bill accordingly
The House Adjourns until the Morrow Morning at nine of the
Clock

ters and things Contained and mentioned in the Act for raising and
issuing Money for maintaining his Majestys Forces to be raised in
this Province and for Transporting them to the Place of Rendezvous
