Samuel Chamberlaine Esqr from the upper house delivers to
Mr Speaker the paper bill Entituled an Act for issuing and paying
out of the Office of the Commissioners or Trustees for Emitting Bills
of Credit established by Act of Assembly the sum of Nine hundred
pounds in Bills of Credit &ca Indorsed (See page 432)
Messrs Key & Pearce were Sent to Acquaint his Excellency the
Govr that no publick business is now before the house to Transact
Colo Hammond and Samuel Chamberlaine Esqr from the upper
house Acquaint Mr Speaker that the Governour requires the At-
tendance of the Lower house of Assembly
Mr Speaker left the Chair & with the rest of the Members of the
Lower house went to the Upper house where his Excellency Passed
the Ingrossed Bill Entituled

An Act for issuing and paying out of the office of the Commis-
sioners or Trustees for Emitting Bills of Credit established by Act
of Assembly the Sum of Nine hundred pounds Current Mony in
Bills of Credit as also for the payment of Two hundred pounds
Sterling Mony for purchasing provisions for his Majesty's Forces
raised in this Province and for Continuing part of an Act therein
mentioned into a Law by Sealing it with the Right Honble the Lord
Proprietary his great Seal at Arms and Indorsing it thus
On behalf of the Lord Proprietary of this Province I will this be
a Law T Bladen
his Excellency made the following Speech
Gentlemen of the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly.
I cannot Part with you without Assuring you of my Satisfaction
for the Readiness you have Shewed in making such a provision for
the Subsistence of our Troops, as I hope will be sufficient for them
at this Juncture
No other business being Urgent at present, I have thought fit with
the Advice of his Lordships Council of State to Prorogue this As-
sembly to the last Tuesday in March next and you are to Take Notice
you are prorogued to that Day accordingly.
So Endeth this Second Session of Assembly this Twelfth Day of
November in the Thirty second year of the Dominion of the right
Honble Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of
Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltimore &ca and in the
Year of our Lord 1746
