Read and assented to by this house and Ordered to be so Sub-
scribed

Read the second time the Bill Entituled An Act impowering Cer-
tain Persons to vend and dispose of Lands in Somerset County
whereof Woney Macclemey died Seized in fee for the purposes
therein mentioned; Passed and sent by Cot Lloyd
Four Engrossed Bills from the Lower house by Messrs John and
Benjamin Mackall, Viz. An Act for the Relief of Persons accused
& acquitted and of witnesses against Persons accused; An Act for
taking off Corporall Punishment inflicted on Females having base
born Children and other purposes therein mentioned; An Act for
further Altering and Establishing certain Warehouses and for other
Purposes therein mentioned; An Act for the Cutting off the Entail
of part of a Tract of Land Called Hollands Choice Lying in Ann
Arundel County, to Enable Jacob Holland to sell and Convey the
same in fee simple and to Entail other Lands in Lieu thereof Sever-
ally thus Subscribed 23 June 1749
Read and Assented to by the Lower house of Assembly
Signed p Order M Macnemara Cl Lo Ho.
Read and Assented to by this house and Ordered to be so Sub-
scribed
Adjourned till to Morrow Morning ten of the Clock

of Credit Established by Act of Assembly, on Monday the 29th Day
of May 1749
