of Horse in Kent County raised in Virtue of the "Act to encourage
the raising a Troop of Light Horse in Baltimore Town and each
County of this State " in the room of Thomas Rasin resigned.
Samuel Maffet of Caecil County appointed and Commissioned one
of the Coronors of the said County.
Proclamation issued announcing the Birth of a Dauphin of France
this 13th June appointing 25th Inst, for celebrating the same see
19th June Instant.

[Council to Honble Intendant]

Under the Act of November Session 1779 for the immediate
Supply of Flour, and other Provision for the Army, the Commis-
sioners appointed by the Law, seized in the Hands of Mr Conrad
Theodore Wederstrandt, a large Quantity of Wheat. Mr Weder-
strandt at that Time, was a Continental Commissary, and we have
Reason to believe the Wheat seized in his Hands, was purchased by
him as Commissary for the United States.

Friday 14th June 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Frederick Green
fifty Pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of
Bills of Credit &ca due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joshua Mudd eight Pounds twelve
shillings of the same Emission to be delivered over to Lieut Charles
Beavin late of the 6 Regiment due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Nathaniel Ramsey one thou-
sand Pounds of the same Emission for the use of the Commissioners
for the preservation of Confiscated British Property on Account of
their Commissions.
That the said Treasurer pay to Brice T. B. Worthington Esqr
eighty nine Pounds and eight Pence of the same Emission for the
use of Rezin Gaither due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to James Lloyd Esquire fifty one
Pounds, ten shillings and five Pence of the same Emission to be
delivered over to Thomas Smyth due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Jeremiah Jordon Esqr ninety
seven Pounds, two shillings and seven pence of the same Emission
due on Certificates settled and adjusted.
That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Lansdale forty six Pounds,
seven shillings and six Pence of the same Emission to be delivered
over to Nathanial Hatton due him on Certificate settled & adjusted.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Woolf one hundred and
thirty three Pounds, eleven shillings and two Pence of the same
