Wednesday 13th March 1782
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Captain Jona-
than Gibson thirty two pounds, fifteen shillings and ten pence half
penny of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills
of Credit &ca for Stores to the 1st Instant — thirty pounds in lieu of
a Suit of Cloaths & four Shirts for the present Year and also the
further sum of thirty pounds of the same Emission agreeable to a
Resolution of this Board of the 22d of July 1781 on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut William Pendergast thirty
four pounds, two shillings & four pence half penny for Stores to the
1st Inst, thirty pounds in lieu of a Suit of Cloaths & four shirts for
the present Year & also the further Sum of thirty pounds of the
same Emission agreeable to a Resolution of this Board 22d July 1781
on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Lewis Duvall twenty five pounds,
seventeen shillings — Harris Austin nine pounds, ten shillings, —
John Courts fifteen shillings — & Elizabeth Isabell seven pounds, nine
shillings & six pence due them per Accounts passed. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Brice T. Beale
Worthington one hundred and fifty six pounds, fifteen shillings and
nine pence Colo Thomas Dorsey fifty one pounds, fifteen shillings
and six pence — Thomas Beatty four pounds, six shillings and one
penny — Philip Thomas eighteen shillings — Andrew Fogle two
pounds, fifteen shillings and six pence — Majr Benjamin Johnson,
thirteen pounds, sixteen shillings and eight pence — Adam Jacobs,
one pound, seven shillings and eight pence and Gabriel Swinehart
thirty one pounds, seven shillings Specie agreeable to the " Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State " per Accounts & Certificates
adjusted & passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Major Edward Giles for the use
of Major Aquila Giles ten pounds in lieu of four shirts due him in
1781 and also the further sum of thirty pounds of the Bills emitted
under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca in lieu of a Suit
of Cloaths & four Shirts for the present year on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut William Selby twelve pounds,
seven shillings and eleven pence of the same Emission for the use
of his Detachment of Militia Guarding the Prisoners at Frederick
Town per pay roll examined and passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Henry Briscoe twelve pounds three
shillings and four pence — Ignatius Mattingly nine pounds, eight shil-
lings and four pence — Zachariah Newton six pounds, thirteen shil-
lings and four pence — Jeremiah Harbert ten pounds, ten shillings —
Joshua Bennett fourteen pounds, sixteen shillings and eight pence and
David Meddiss twelve pounds six shillings and eight pence of the
same Emission due them p Accounts passed. —
