          358 Talbot County Court Proceedings, 1662-1674.

         Liber BB vallue of 2000lb of Tobacoe And Further the Plant Craues an at-
           No.2 taclunt, its Ordered that it Issue


                Gregory Murill Came this day to Courtt and Accknowledged a bill
               to the vallue of of Tobacoe Due to Henry Morgaine &c:


                This Court Ariseing hath Apointed the next Court to be held at
               the house of Mr Rich: Wolemans the 25th of March 1663


         A Court held at the house of Mr Rich: Woleman 25th day of
                             March 1663
                        Mr Ri: Woleman Mm Jame Ringold     . -
                 Present:                          Comissc
                        Mr Wm: Coursey Mr Tho: Hynsonj

                John Madbery Came this Day into Open Court and did Comply
               with Henry Coursey Esq to Doe his worke According to his former
               Agreement &c:


                This Day Came Tho: Philipes and John Morgaine And did Sur
               rendr a pattin unto mr Wm: Coursey not Complying with there
               Condicon

                To the worshipll Comissc of Talbot County the humble Petti
               con of Henry Morgaine: Sheweth that haueing 789lb of Tobacoe
               due from Robt Martin senr by Bill the said Martin being Areasted
               & hath not Apeared therefore yor petticoń Craues Judgmt upon the
               said Bill and yor petticofi shall euer pray

                The deift Robt Martin Came into Court & did accknowledg the
               bill but did make appeare by Recept the paymt of 254w of tobacoe
               of the said bill soe there Remaines due 535lb of Tobacoe The Court
               hath granted an Order that present paymt be made unto Henry
               Morgaine

           [p.7] Abra: Bishop plt The deft hath owned his debt to be thirty two
               Wm: Hamblton defft pounds of tobacoe & Caske due to the ptt, &
               the Court hath granted that present paymt be made to the ptt

               Charles Hollinsworth plt To the worshipll Comissc of Talbot
               Edmond Webb deffent County the humbl petticon of John Hol
               linsworth Humbly sheweth that yor petticon haueing bought of Ed
               mond Webb two barills of Indian Corne & paid for the same to the
               Said Edmond Webb And the said Webb doth detane the Corne
               from yor petticoń to the greate damage of yor petticoń as by two
               Sufficient wittnesses shall make Appeare therefore yor Petticoń
