Ex.d

An Act to enable the Commissioners or Trustees of the Loan Office
to purcahse Stationary Ware necessary for the Use of the Upper
and Lower Houses of Assembly

Be it enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary by
and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordships Governor and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of
the same that the Commissioners or Trustees of the Loan Office
for the Time being shall and they are hereby impowered out of the
first Bills of Exchange that shall be in their Hands belonging to the
Public of this Province to remit to some Merchant in London the
Sum of twenty rive Founds Sterling with Orders to lay out the
same (deducting Commission & Charges) in one Record Book and
such Parchment Paper Ink Powder and Quills as the said Com-
missioners or Trustees shall direct any Law to the Contrary not-
withstanding which said stationary Ware shall be purchased and
shipped on the Risque of the Public of this Province and shall on it's
Arrival be to and for the Use of the Upper and Lower Houses of
Assembly to be by them expended in the Publick Business
