Mess.rs Hanson and Wright bring up the following Engrossed
Bills Read and assented to by the Lower House of Assembly.
A Bill Entituled An Act for amending and repairing the Public
Roads in Baltimore County.
A Bill Entituled An Act to oblige infected Ships and other Vessels
coming into this Province to Perform Quarentine
A Bill Entituled An Act for the Payment of the Public Claims for
Emitting Bills of Credit and for other purposes therein mentioned
These Bills Read and assented to by this House and ordered to
be so subscribed the Paper Bills so Endorsed sent by John Ridout
Esq.r

The following Message is sent by Benedict Calvert Esq..r
By the Upper House of Assembly 6.th Dec/ 1766.
Gentlemen
We think it a point of Respect due to the Lord Proprietary, to
request the favour of him, to undertake the Execution of the Trust
created by the Bill Entituled "An Act for the Payment of the Public
Claims for Emitting Bills of Credit and for other purposes therein
mentioned," and therefore propose that the Application may be made
to his Lordships by an Address from both Houses
The two Houses addressed the late Lord Proprietary, to execute
the Trust contained in the first Paper Currency Act and in the Act
of 1765 for limiting the time for sinking the Paper Bills of Credit
his Lordship was requested to continue in the Trust and Care of
Superintending and directing the Conduct and Behaviour of the
Trustees residing in London, as Himself and his Noble Father had
heretofore done under the £90,000 Act.

A Bill by Mess.rs Lee and Smallwood Entituled An Act to enable
the Commissioners of the Office for Emitting Bills of Credit to
purchase Stationary Ware necessary for the use of the Upper and
Lower Houses of Assembly and for other purposes therein men-
tioned. Read the first and second time in the Lower House and
will Pass Read the first and second time by especial Order in this
House and will Pass Sent by Benedict Calvert Esq..r

Ordered that an Address be prepared to His Majesty, and another
to Lord Baltimore
Mess.rs Grahame and Earle bring up the following Message
By the Lower House of Assembly 6.th Dec:r 1766.
