John Ridout esquire, from the upper house delivers to M.r
speaker the petition of Mary Philpott indorsed "By the upper house
of assembly June 9.th 1768. Read, and referred to the lower house
of assembly

Which is read, and ordered to lie on the table.
John Beale Bordley esquire from the upper house delivers to M.r
speaker a bill entitled an act to prevent the exportation of flour,
staves, and shingles not merchantable from the town of Baltimore
in Baltimore County; and to regulate the weight of hay and mea-
sure of grain salt, flax-seed, and fire-wood within the said town,

indorsed "By the upper house of assembly June 6.th 1768: Read the

first time and ordered to lie on the table.

time and will pass"

On motion ordered that a bill be brought in to revive an act entitled
an act to establish a market at the market house in Chester town in
Kent County; and for the regulation of the said markett
M.r Smallwood brings in and delivers to M.r speaker the following
report

By the committee appointed to inspect into the state and con-
dition of the arms and ammunition, and amounts relating thereto.
Your committee in obedience to the directions of the honorable
house having examined the magazine in the city of Annapolis, do
find there is now in the possession of the armourer, the following
arms and ammunition viz.t

185. Musketts, with slings, which appear to be in good order
