Our Most Gracious Sovereigns and the Parliaments Attention to
the Interests and Prosperity of His Majestys American Subjects,

I thought it my Duty to Notify the same by Proclamation, and with
pleasure embrace this Opportunity of congratulating you, on the
happy Turn of Affairs in favour of these Colonies, and the pleasing
Prospect now afforded Us.
John Ridout and Henry Hooper Esq..rs are sent, with the Clerk
of this House, to see the Members of the Lower House Qualified,
by taking the Oath of Abjuration, directed to be taken by the late
Act of Parliament, who return and report, that they had seen the
Members of the Lower House, then present, and also their Clerk,
take and subscribe the said Oath.
Adjourned until Monday Morning 10 of the Clock

Nov. 3

Monday Morning 3d November 1766.

This House met again according to Adjournment
Present as on Saturday except M.r Calvert.
Adjourned until 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon

Eodem Die Post Meridiem
This House met again according to Adjournment
Present as in the Morning

Mess.rs Baker and Hanson attend with M.r Earle, a Member for
Cecil County and M.r Dent a Member for Charles County, to see
them Qualified who take and Subscribe the Oath of Abjuration
directed to be taken by the late Act of Parliament and then withdraw.
Adjourned until to Morrow Morning 10 of the Clock

Nov. 4

Tuesday Morning 4.th November 1766.
This House met again according to Adjournment
Present as Yesterday.

Mess.rs Ringgold and F: Gant attend with Col.o Rich..d Loyd,
and Rob.t Buchanan, two Members for Kent County, and M.r
James Smith a Member for Frederick County to see them Qualified,
who take and subscribe the Oath of Abjuration directed to be taken
by the late Act of Parliament and then withdraw.
Adjourned until 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon
