222 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

Widow of Lieut. John Levascher Fifteen pounds current money for
one quarters half pay due the first Instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to Mrs. Mary Hillary
Widow of Lieut. Rignall Hillary Fifteen pounds current money for
one quarters half pay due the first Instant.

[p 268] In Council November 5th. 1787

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to James Hind-
man Esquire Thirty seven pounds ten shillings current money for one
half years Salary as a Member of the Council due the first Instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Kilty Esquire
eighteen pounds fifteen shillings current money for one quarters
salary as a Member of the Council due the first Instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to Jeremiah Townly Chase
Esquire, eighteen pounds fifteen Shillings current money for one
quarters Salary as a Member of the Council due the first Instant.

Resolved That the Commission of Zachariah Alien Esquire as
Notary Public for Baltimore County be revoked, and that he be and
is hereby removed from the said Office.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer Pay to James Mc-
Henry Esquire One hundred and seventy six pounds, thirteen
shillings and two pence, current money in part of an Order of Council
of the 15th. of March last, for "One thousand five hundred and
seventy six pounds, thirteen shillings and two pence current money;
arising due on a purchase of Bills of Credit Issued by Congress made
by Messrs. McHenry and Hindman, in virtue of a Contract made
with them by the late Intendant, under the Authority of a Resolution
of the Assembly of the thirty first of May 1783" now delivered in.

That the said Treasurer pay to James McHenry Esquire five
hundred pounds, current money in part of an Order of Council of
the 15th. of March last, for "One thousand five hundred and seventy
six pound, thirteen shillings and two pence current money; arising
due on a purchase of Bills of Credit Issued by Congress, made by
Messrs. McHenry and Hindman in virtue of a Contract made with
them by the late Intendant, under the Authority of a Resolution of
the Assembly of the thirty first of May 1783" now delivered in.
