And the said W^m Areskine by his Attorney Tho: Poole This day to witt ye 10^th day of November
Annoq Do^m 1675 further Saith that the writt was executed upon the def^t And the def^t not
appearing by himself nor attourney Craves order against the sherife, Capt^a William
Colebourne Sherife of this County Saith That the def^t run away from him & is in Accomack &c
This Co^rt orders that Capt^a: W^m Colebourne sherife of this County pay unto William Areskine
marchant or his order one Thousand & fifteene pounds of tobacco with Cost of Sute &c And
further orders that Attachm^t be issued forth upon the goods Chattles & Creditts of Edw^d Williams
to answ^r unto Captⁿ W^m Colebourne for the said Debt & damadges &c~ ~ ~ ~ ~

himself nor attorney ord^s him to be nonsuited ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Honner Dudley def^t appeares in person
Sommersett Ss Honnor Dudley was summoned to answ^r unto Anne Revell in
an accon of Defamacon
Whereupon the said Anne by her Attorney Thomas Poole Saith y^t on the 25^th of September
in ye XXXXiiii^th year of ye Dominion of the R^t hon^rble Caecilius &c over the Province of
Maryland Annoq Do^m 1675 at the house of m^r Randal Revell gent^l of this County the
Said Honnor Dudley Did then & there malitiousley out of an Evill intent Defame ye plte
Saying y^t the said Anne did take John Tylers Linnen & picked His name out & made her
selfe head Linnen the plte Craves redress according to Lawe in Such Cases provided
being Damnified & hath Damadge in her Creditt & reputacon to ye vallue of 2995^lb: of
Tobacc^o & thereupon bringeth her Sute~ ~ ~ pr quer Tho: Poole
Elizabeth Card being Subp^d on the part of ye plte appeares; And the said Honner (To witt on
the 10^th day of November Annoq Do^m 1675) in person appeared & disownes any such
report given by her, This Co^rt findes for ye Def^t & ord^rs A nons^t: ~ ~ ~ ~

Sommersett Ss Edward Dickeson Late of this County plant^r was summoned to answ^r
Frances Minshall the relict of Jeffery Minshall deceased in a plea y^t he render four
hundred & thirty pounds of Tobacco w^ch he owes & unjustly deteineth &c ~ ~
And whereupon the said Frances by her Attourney George Hasfurt Saith y^t he the s^d Edward did
upon the 24^th day of December last past assume upon himselfe & promise to pay unto the
above named Jeffery Minshall his heires executors adm^rs or assignes the summe or
quantity of foure hundred & thirty pounds of good sound marchantable tobacco with Caske
to Containe the same to be paid unto ye aforesaid Jeffery Minshall at or upon ye Tenth
day of october then next ensueing at his owne dwelling house as his bill here in
Co^rt:
