Local Laws, ' 'Vagrant Children, 'and to enact certain pro-

Police Commissioners of Baltimore city to increase the
pension of Wm. H. Mills, a retired policeman of the
police force of Baltimore city. "

Mr. Walsh, from a Select Committee, reported favor-

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for an addi-
tional Justice of the Peace in and for the Eighth Elec-
tion District in Carroll county. "

vorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the selling
of corn, hay, straw, fodder and potatoes in Annapolis
city by weight and to establish scales therefor. "

tions to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title

viding for the creation of a Board of Police Examiners of
Baltimore city, defining and prescribing the duties thereof,
and to regulate appointments to, promotions, reduc-
tions in rank, and transfers in and removals from the
