Mr. Knott, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably, with proposed amendments,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges,
enlarge the powers, and amend the charter of the Wood-
boro Savings Bank, of Frederick county. "
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Strike out the whole of "Section 3, " and substitute the
following:

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted that the stockholders
of said company shall be liable to the amount of their
respective share and shares of stock in said company for
all its debts and liabilities upon note, bill or otherwise. "

Sec. 4. And be it enacted that this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Also favorably, with proposed amendments,

House bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges,
enlarge the powers, amend and ratify the charter of the
Exchange and Savings Bank of Berlin, Md. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend by striking out the whole of section 7 and sub-
stituting the following: "Sec. 7. And be it further enact-
ed that the stockholders of said company shall be liable
to the amount of their respective share or shares of
stock in said company for all its debts and liabilities
upon note, bill or otherwise.

Sec, 8. And be it further enacted that this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Annapo-
lis Banking and Trust Company. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out the whole of section 16, and substitute in
its place the following: "Section 16 and be it further
enacted, That the stockholders of the Annapolis Banking
and Trust Company shall be liable to the amount of their
respective share or shares of stock in said company for
all its debts and liabilities neon note, bill or otherwise. "
