ducted.

54 E. The license fees shall be as provided by existing
laws for any one class or group contained in this Act, for
the first one thousand dollars stock and ten dollars for
every additional thousaLd dollars, except where such class
or group includes the sale of alcoholic, spirituous or fer-
mented liquors, when the license shall be as now provided
and under the terms, provisions, regulations and condi-
tions of existing laws. Five hundred dollars for every
class or group or for any particular article of any class
or group mentioned in the application for such license,
being in addition to the class or group in the application
mentioned as the principal business of the applicant and
said license fee shall be uniform in each city in winch it
is collected."

54 F. Any person or persons, firm or corporation, or
association of persons violating any of the provisions
hereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
on conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprison-
ment in the county jail for a term not exceeding one
year, or by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars,
nor more than five hundred dollars, or by both such flue
or imprisonment, and each and every day that a viola-
tion of this Act shall continue shall constitute a new and
additional offense, in the case of a violation hereof by a
corporation, the president or managing officer of said
corporation may be prosecuted thereof as in the case of
a private individual.

54 G. This Act shall not apply to manufacturing es-
tabhishmerits, warehouses or auction houses, or to any
establishment where not more than ten persons are em-
ployed.

Sec. 9. It shall be the duty of the proprietor or man-
ager of every store at the request of the board or officer
authorized to issue the license required by this Act to
furnish such board or officer with a statement in writing
under oath, setting forth the different classes of goods
wares and merchandise which is kept and had for sale in
such store.

Sec. 10. All Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent with
the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.
