DELEGATE SHERBOW: Mr. Presi-
dent, the Committee on State Finance and
Taxation has made a series of decisions
with respect to proposals before that com-
mittee and these decisions have been filed
with the various offices here. In each in-
stance a very short statement is attached
giving the reasons for the decision. In addi-
tion, each person who has filed a proposal
is being given notice of the action of the
committee, so that they will not have to
come to the committee in order to find out
what has happened. We are continuing
with our meetings, and again I remind you
that on Tuesday there will be a large meet-
ing dealing with the subject of agricultural
assessments. If you have people who want
to be heard on any of the sides of this
matters, please let us know so we will know
how to schedule that day's hearing.
THE PRESIDENT: Any further an-

REVEREND FLEMING: Shall We
Pray:
Oh, Most Heavenly Father, Who hast
created and hast the power to control the
destinies of nations, we praise Thy name
for the many precious blessings Thou hast
placed upon us physically and mentally and
spiritually. We ask that Thy blessings may
continue upon us. Touch our hearts and
enrich our lives. Be with our leaders in
our Nation's Capitol as well as here in our
State Capitol. Be with those around the
world who are protecting those rights
which we cherish. Be with our Governor,
also, Father, and bless him and us at this
hour.
We pray especially for these men and
women of the Constitutional Convention.
Guide them to preserve and enlarge those
principles that have made us a privileged
people. May Thy Will be done here. May
Thy program be carried out above party
lines and beyond time and circumstances
for the good of our State and for the wel-
fare of our people.
We ask it in our Lord and Saviour's
name.
