NOVEMBER SESSION, 1796.

Being the FIRST SESSION of the FIFTH SENATE.

    ON Monday the seventh day of November, seventeen hundred and ninety-six, being the
day appointed by the constitution and form of government for the meeting of the general
assembly, appeared in the senate,
        The honourable    CHARLES CARROLL, of Carrollton,
                                    CHARLES RIDGELY, of Hampton,    Esquires,

Who adjourn until to-morrow morning.

    THE same members appeared as on yesterday.  The honourable John Thomas and James
Hollyday, Esquires, appeared in the senate.

The members present adjourn until to-morrow morning.

W    E    D    N    E    S    D    A    Y,    November 9, 1796.

    THE same members appeared as on yesterday.  The honourable John S. Purnell and William
H. Dorsey, Esquires, appeared in the senate.  The members present adjourn until to-morrow morning.

T    H    U    R    S    D    A    Y,    November 10, 1796.

    THE same members appeared as on yesterday, except the honourable Charles Ridgely, of
Hampton, Esquire.  The members present adjourn until to-morrow morning.

F    R    I    D    A    Y,    November 11, 1796.

    THE same members appeared as on yesterday.  The members present adjourn until to-morrow 
morning.

S    A    T    U    R    D    A    Y,    November 12, 1796.

    THE same members appeared as on yesterday.  The members present adjourn until Monday
morning.

M    O    N    D    A    Y,    November 14, 1796.

    THE same members appeared as on Saturday.  The honourable William Perry and John E.
Howard, Esquires, appeared in the senate.

The members present adjourn until to-morrow morning.
