    No. 43.  An act for the better administration of justice in the several counties of this state.
    No. 44.  A Further supplement to an act, entitled, An act to lay out several turnpike roads in Baltimore
county, and for other purposes.
    No. 45.  An act permitting the proprietors of lots binding on the water at the west end of the bason in
Baltimore-town to extend and improve the same.
    No. 46.  An act to correct a misnomer in an act, entitled, An act concerning the bank stock.
    No. 47.  An act to authorise and empower the vestry of William and Mary parish, in Charles county, to
sell and dispose of the negroes belonging to said parish, and for other purposes.
    No. 48.  An act to empower the levy court of Anne-Arundel county to assess a sum of money for the purpose
therein mentioned.
    No. 49.  An act to prevent hogs from going at large at George-town Cross Roads, in Kent county.
    No. 50.  A further supplement to an act, entitled, An act to establish a market at the market-house in
Chester-town, in Kent county, and for the regulation of the said market.
    No. 51.  An act to record Peters, Deakins, Beatty and Threlkeld's addition to George-town, in Montgomery
county.
    No. 52.  An act to authorise a lottery in George-town, in the territory of Columbia.
    No. 53.  An act to empower the levy court of Harford county to assess and levy a sum of money for the purposes
therein mentioned.
    No. 54.  An act authorising commissioners to survey, mark and bound, certain streets in Beatty and Hawkin's
addition to George-town, in Montgomery county, and for other purposes therein mentioned.
    No. 55.  An act for building a record-office, and securing and transcribing certain records and papers,
in Baltimore county, and rebuilding two bridges over Jones's Falls, in Baltimore-town, in said county.
    No. 56.  An act to incorporate a company for building a bridge over Jones's Falls in Baltimore-town.
    No. 57.  An to empower John Erskine and John Thomas, administrators of Richard Johns, to collect
the balances due to Richard Johns as sheriff and collector of Talbot county.
    No. 58.  An additional supplement to an act, entitled, An act to streighten and amend the post-road from
Havre-de-Grace to Baltimore-town.
    No. 59.  An act respecting the roads of Somerset and Worcester counties.
    No. 60.  An additional supplement to an act, entitled, An act relating to public roads in this state, and to

repeal the acts of assembly therein mentioned, as far as relates to Cæcil, Talbot and Kent counties.
    No. 61.  An act to appoint an agent for the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety-seven.
    No. 62.  An additional supplement to an act, entitled, An act for the relief of the poor of Calvert county.
    No. 63.  A supplement to an act, entitled, An act to incorporate an insurance company in Baltimore-town.
    No. 64.  An act to revive and continue the acts of assembly therein mentioned.
    No. 65.  A supplement to the act, entitled, An act for erecting a public school in Frederick county.
    No. 66.  An act, entitled, An act to revive and continue an act, entitled An act for the punishment of
horse stealers, and other offenders.
    No. 67.  An act relating to negroes, and to repeal the acts of assembly therein mentioned.
    No. 68.  An to erect Baltimore-town, in Baltimore county, into a city, and to incorporate the inhabitants
thereof.
    No. 69.  An to lay out and establish a turnpike road from the city of Washington to Baltimore-town.
    No. 70.  An act for the relief of sundry insolvent debtors.
    No. 71.  An act for the payment of the journal of accounts.

Mr. Speaker, with the rest of the members, returned and resumed the chair.

The house adjourns till the first Monday of November next.
