MARYLAND TRAINING SCHOOL FOR COLORED GIRLS

Under the Act of the General Assembly of 1946, the Board of
Managers is appointed in accordance with the following (Chapter
1060,1946):

"From and after June 1, 1943, the Board of Managers of said Insti-
tution shall continue in office until the expiration of their respective
terms. Thereafter, the Governor shall annually appoint three mem-
bers for staggered terms of 6 years, so arranged that the terms of
three members shall expire on June I, of each year. The Board shall
consist of 9 members and members shall be eligible for re-appoint-
ment. Any member of the Board who shall fail to attend meetings for
a period of one year shall be considered to have resigned and shall
have his name forwarded to the Governor and the Governor shall
appoint his successor who shall serve for the remainder of the said
term."
