applications, following which it will process and submit them
together with recommendations to the Board of Public Works.
The Board of Public Works, in turn, will then certify the
obligation of the funds for each project to the State Treasurer
and he will make such funds available to the governing body
of the subdivision which submitted the application. The Land
Acquisition Division of the Department of Public Improve-
ments will then acquire the land for State projects funded
under the provisions of this Loan.
p. 197 The Bank Regulation Board consists of the following ex officio
members: Robert W. Thon, Jr., J. Robert Sherwood, John E.
Motz, and William A. Graham.
p. 207 The term of Albert J. Glover, chairman of the Minimum Wage

The Governor appointed the special committee by Executive
Order in 1969 because of his deep concern for the welfare of
the disadvantaged youth in Maryland. The Task Force is to
study and recommend to him a program for the Job corps in
Maryland. The report as to the location, facilities, program
evaluation and research will form the basis for Maryland's
proposals to the U. S. Department of Labor.
p. 223 Insert the following special committee:
STATE TOBACCO WAREHOUSE
STUDY COMMITTEE
Chairman: George R. Lewis, Director,
Department of Public Improvements
George E. Snyder; John J. Kent, Jr.; Calvin L. Compton;
Edward T. Hall; Young D. Hance; Harry McPherson;
C. Carroll Lee.
The Governor appointed this special study committee in 1969
to decide what sort of replacement, if any, the State needs for
its old tobacco warehouse. The committee consists of a mem-
ber of the State Senate, members of the House of Delegates,
and persons interested in tobacco farming. The committee is
to report at a later date.
p. 226 The second line under Governor's council for Appalachian
Maryland should read Appalachian Maryland Development
council.
