ADDENDA
It will be obvious to every reader of this SUPPLEMENT to the
MARYLAND MANUAL that a book of this size, scope and nature
can never be wholly accurate even on the date it appears. The very
last changes were made early in March of 1975. and to the best of
our knowledge the book was accurate as of that date. However, the
reader should bear in mind that new appointments, resignations,
retirements and the like occur, so that some of the names may be
incorrect. The names of the individuals and agencies appearing in
this addenda have not been indexed into the rest of the book.
p. 127,148 Read Richard A. Batterton, Secretary of Employment
and Social Services in place of W. Shepherdson Abell.
p. 131 Add Consumer Council, created by Chapter 609, Acts of
1974, the membership of which has not as yet been
appointed.
p. 148 Read William G. Sykes, Deputy Secretary of Employment
and Social Services in place of Vacancy.
p. 173 Under Office of Energy Policy, read John P. Hewitt,
Director, in place of Richard A. Batterton. Kenneth R.
Reed is now Deputy Director, while Robert G. Jacobs
is Assistant Director.
p. 174 Under State Department of Assessments and Taxation
read William H. Riley, Jr., Director, in place of Albert
W. Ward.
p. 196,208 Under Circuit Court Judges for Anne Arundel County
read Karl F. Biener, 1976, in place of Vacancy.
p. 199,222 Under Prince George's County Circuit Court, Judge
Roscoe H. Parker retired March 31, 1975. His successor
had not yet been appointed at press time.
p. 200,232 Under District Court Judges of Baltimore City, read
Robert M. Bell, 1984.
p. 202,221 Under Montgomery County District Court read Stanley
Klavan, 1985, in place of Vacancy.
