THOMAS A. RYMER, Democrat, District 30A; born in Asheville,
N.C., February 10, 1925. Attended public schools of Asheville,
N.C. and Washington, D.C.; University of Maryland; Cornell
University, B.C.E., 1948; George Washington University School
of Law, J.D., 1955. Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1958. Served
in the U.S. Navy in World War II. State's Attorney for Calvert
County, 1966-70. Town Attorney for North Beach. Chairman,
Tri-County Comprehensive Health Planning Board. Member,
Governor's Commission on Comprehensive Health. First vice
president, Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland. Member,
Men's Democratic Club; Maryland and Calvert County Bar As-
sociations; Board of Trade; Calvert County PTA; Maryland Mu-
nicipal League. Past president, Calvert County Lions Club. Mem-
ber, American Legion; Elks. Married. Member of the House of
Delegates since 1971.
FRANCIS J. SANTANGELO. SR.. Democrat, District 25; born in
Philadelphia, Pa., March 3, 1919. Attended Philadelphia public
and parochial schools; LUTC. Insurance Broker. Served in the
U.S. Army during World War II. Delegate to Democratic State
Convention, 1958. Member, Prince George's County Democratic
Organization Executive Committee. President, Kent District
Democratic Club; Committee on Democratic Education. Founder
and president, PACA Italian-American Club of Prince George's
County. Chairman, Bladensburg Marina Task Force. President,
Kentland Neighborhood Improvement Committee. Lido Civic
Club; Knights of Columbus; V.F.W.; Kentland Citizens Associa-
tion. Past president and organizer, Kentland Athletic Boys Club.
Former member and honorary member, Kentland Volunteer Fire
Department. Former member, AFL-CIO, Transportation Workers
Union, and local chairman, Brotherhood of Railroad Shop Crafts.
Received Outstanding State Official of the Year Award from
Maryland Municipal League, 1970. Married. Member of the
House of Delegates, 1967-71, and since 1975.
GEORGE J. SANTONI. Democrat, District 46; born in Baltimore,
March 4, 1939. Attended Baltimore public schools. Consultant.
Member of many civic and Democratic clubs. Past Venerable,
Belair Road Lodge, Sons of Italy. Married. Member of the House
of Delegates since 1975.
DAVID L. SCULL, Democrat, District 18; born in Washington,
D.C., May 10, 1943, Attended Montgomery County public
schools; St. Albans School; Princeton University, A.B., high
honors, 1965; University of Virginia Law School, J.D., 1968.
Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1969. Served in the U.S. Army,
1968-71. Member, Governor's Task Force to Study Campaign
Financing. Legislative chairman, Maryland Consumer Council,
1973-74, Member executive committee, Eastern Montgomery-
Kensington-Wheaton Democratic Club, 1974-75. Member, Ameri-
can, Maryland, District of Columbia, Montgomery County, and
Virginia Bar Associations. Married. Member of the House of
