Said resolutions were then returned to the Senate.
Mr. Morse, (the rules being suspended,)
Submitted the following order :

Ordered, That a Committee of three be appointed to wait
on the President of the Annapolis and Elkridge Railroad
Company, to ascertain if an extra train can be had to-mor-
row morning for the accommodation of the members of the
General Assembly.

Which was adopted, and Messrs. Morse, Webb and Tur-
ner constituted said Committee.

Mr. Marbury, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom
had been referred the Senate bill entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the town of Upper Marlborough, in Prince George's

county, reported the same with proposed amendments:

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In line 2, of section 2, strike out the words "first Monday
in. May annually," and insert: first Thursday in April next,
and every three years thereafter.

In section 11, line 9, after the word "present," insert: in
person.

In section 9, line 8, after the word "sufficient," insert the

words : and the bonds of said Collectors shall be liable to
be sued in the same manner as the bonds of Collectors of
County and State taxes now are.

The amendments were severally read and adopted.

Mr. Harrington, (the rules being suspended,) submitted
