                                        CHAP. XCVIII.
An Act for the relief of Littleton Dennis Teackle, of the Somerset County.

    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
it shall and may be lawful for Somerset county court, or any one
of the judges thereof, during the recess of the said court, to extend 
to the said Littleton Dennis Teackle, all the benefits, advantages
and provisions, of the act passed November session eighteen hundred
and five*, entitled, An act for the relief of sundry insolvent
debtors, and its several supplements, without being required to produce
to the said court, or to the said judge in the recess of the
said court, the assent, in writing, of so many of his creditors, as
have due to them, in amount, two-thirds of the debts owing by the
said Littleton Dennis Teackle, or without being required to produce
proof to the said court, or judge, (as the case may be,) that
the said Littleton Dennis Teackle has given the notice required by
the said act, and the several supplements thereto.
Benefit of insolvent

to him.

An Act for the relief of Henry Shrœder, of the City of Baltimore.

Welsh's Adventure, lying in Baltimore county.

An Act empowering the Surveyors of the several Counties of this State,
    and their Deputies, to qualify their Chain and Pole Carriers.

    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, it shall and may be lawful 
for the surveyors of the several counties of this state, and their deputies 
duly qualified as such, upon any survey by them or either of
them to be made, to administer an oath or affirmation, as the case
may be, to their chain and pole carriers, carefully, without favour
or partiality, to carry the chain or pole, to the best of their knowledge,
whilst making such survey; Provided, that every chain and
pole carrier shall be a free white male person above the age of
twenty-one years.
Surveyors and deputies
may qualify
their chain and
pole carriers.
