At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun
    and held at the City of Annapolis, on Monday the 5th
    of December, in the year of our Lord 1814, and ended
    the 3d of February, 1815,

THE FOLLOWING LAWS WERE ENACTED, TO WIT:


CHAP. 1.

Passed Dec. 19.

                                   CHAPTER I.
An Act to confirm certain Acts of Justices of the Peace who hold or
    have held Offices under the General Government. Lib. TH. No.
    4, fol. 231.
Official acts confirmed.     BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That 
the official acts heretofore performed of any justice of the peace in
this state, who, at the time he acted as such, held an office under
the government of the United States, shall have the same effect and
operation as if such justice of the peace had not been an officer under
the government of the United States.

                                     CHAP. II.
An Act authorising the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church in the
    City of Baltimore to purchase a Lot to be used as a Burying Ground
    Lib. TH. No. 4, fol. 231.
Lot not to exceed
six acres.
    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
trustees of the Roman Catholic Church in the city of Baltimore, at
the time being, be and they are hereby authorised and empowered
to purchase a lot of ground in Baltimore county, not exceeding six
acres, and to hold the same to them, and their successors, as and
for a burial ground for the members of said church, and for no
other use or purpose whatever.
