Upon an examination of the foregoing Edition of the Laws, it
has become necessary to point out some additional references,
which will require to be made, and some errors which will require
to be corrected.
    Of the latter, some few appear to be errors of the press, and
others, mistakes in the manuscript of the notes and references.
There are others which are not to be attributed either to the Printer
or to the Compilers, being faults in the original acts, and the
records in which they are recorded, and therefore not admitting
of correction.
    With respect to the additions, it is proper to observe, that the
acts of 1818 were directed to be included by a Resolution passed
during the session of that year, after a great portion of the work
had been printed, when of course they could not have been referred
to.
