                        Henry Page of Somerset County
                        William Scott Roberts of Queen Anne County
                        James P. Berret of Carroll County
                        Willoughby N. Smith of Baltimore City
                        Isaac Gorham Moale of Baltimore City
                        Robert C. Combs of Saint Mary's County, and
                        Hattersly W. Talbott of Montgomery County
received the highest number of votes and were duly chosen and
elected in accordance with the Laws of Maryland.  Electors of
President and Vice President of the United States.

                                                    Given under my hand and the
                                                    Great Seal of Maryland, at the
                                                    City of Annapolis, on the twenty-seventh
                                                    day of November, in the year of our
                                                    Lord, one thousand eight hundred
                                                    and eighty-eight.

On motion by Mr. Roberts
                                        The Electors there proceeded to
ballot for President of the United States for the term beginning
from and after the third day of March 1889 in conformity with the
requirements of the Constitution and Laws.

Mr. Hodges
                    Nominated Grover Cleveland of the State of New
York, for President of the United States for said term.

The President appointed as tellers Messrs Talbott and Smith
