out in due form Certificates and Lists of the votes given,
and the persons voted for, and having confidence in W. G.
Purnell Secretary to the Electoral College, have appointed,
and by these presents do appoint and authorize him to take
charge of one of said Certificates and Lists, and with all
convenient dispatch to convey and deliver the same to the
President of the Senate of the United States at Washington.
In witness whereof, we hereunto set our hands & seals this fourteenth
day of January Eighteen hundred and eighty nine.








On motion by Mr. Combs
                                        The Secretary was directed to record
the proceedings of the College and that the same be signed by the
President and attested by the Secretary

On motion by Mr. Hodges.
                                            A vote of thanks was tendered the
President for the able dignified and courteous manner in which he
had presided.
Which was appropriately responded to by the President

Upon motion by Mr. Roberts
                                The College adjourned Sine Die
