                                        1905

            Proceedings of Electors of President and Vice
President of the United States of America in and for
the State of Maryland.

                            On the second Monday of January
being teh ninth day thereof in the year nineteen
hundred and five; the day appointed by the Constitution
and Laws of the United States on which
the Electors for President and Vice President of the
United States of America, are directed to assemble
and perform the trust reposed in them, there
appeared at the hour of noon, in the Senate Chamber
in the State House in the City of Annapolis (the time
and place designated by Act of Assembly, for the
meeting of said Electors) the following gentlemen
who had been proclaimed by the Executive Authority
of teh State, to have been duly elected, Electors of
President and Vice President of the United States, in
and for the State of Maryland: to wit:

                            Frank Brown
                            Charles J. Bonaparte
                            Elihu E. Jackson
                            John E. George
                            T. Herbert Shriver
                            James King
                            Samuel A. Mudd
                            Ferdinand Williams

                            The said Electors severally qualified
by taking the oath prescribed by the Constitution to be
taken by all civil officers.

                            On motion of Mr. Brown
Hon Elihu E. Jackson was unanimously chosen
President of the College and was escorted to the
chair by Messrs Bonaparte, George and
Shriver:  and upon taking the chair expressed his
appreciation of hte compliment & paid him by the
College.
