                                Seal of the State of Maryland.
                                Done at the City of Annapolis this ninth day
                                of January one thousand nine hundred
                                and five.

Which message was read when the President of
the College declared that nominations for President of the
United States were in order:  thereupon

Mr. Schriver
    Nominated Alton Brooks Parker of the State of New York for President of
the United States for the term beginning from and after the
third day of March 1905 in conformity with the Constitution
and laws:  and Mr. Bonaparte nominated Theodore
Roosevelt of the State of New York as President of the
United States for the same term.

The President of the College thereupon named Messrs Bonaparte
and George as tellers who received the ballots which were
duly deposited in a ballot box and on counting the
ballots announced that Allen Brooks Parker had received
seven votes and that Theodore Roosevelt had received one
vote the same being the full Electoral Vote for President
of the United States from Maryland

The President of the College announced the vote as
aforesaid and

    On motion of Mr. Brown, the College proceeded to
ballot for Vice President of the United States for the
ensuing term.
            Mr. Williams nominated Henry Gassaway Davis
of West Virginia for the ensuing term; and
Mr. Bonaparte nominated Charles Warren Fairbanks
of Indiana
            The President of the College named Messrs
Bonaparte and George as tellers who received the ballots
in a ballot box which had been delivered to them
