On motion by Mr. Suit,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill entitled an Act to provide for the rever-
sion to the original owners of lands and real estate donated
or sold to literary, religious or benevolent corporations or
societies, and subsequently abandoned or no longer used by
such corporation or society.

On motion by Mr. Aydelott,
The Senate proceeded to Executive Session.
Having resumed Legislative Business,
Mr. Claggett, from a Select Committee, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and require
the County Commissioners of Washington county, to levy and
pay to Daniel Weisel, of Washington, county, the sum of
three hundred dollars, as additional compensation for profes-
sional services in the cases of the State vs. Mary E. Rowland,
and the State vs. Charles Carroll, removed from the Circuit
Court for Washington county.

Which was read the first time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and re-
turned

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Worcester county, to copy the general
index to Land Records in his office from seventeen hundred
and forty-four.
