AN ACT concerning
Caroline County - Urban Renewal in Federalsburg
FOR the purpose of correcting certain technical errors
concerning urban renewal in Federalsburg, Caroline
County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
The Public Local Laws of Caroline County
Section 126A(j), 126E(3), 126G(a)(3), and 126L(c)(3)
Article 6 - Public Local laws of Maryland
(1965 Edition and 1975 Supplement, as amended)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 126A(j), 126E(3), 126G(a)(3), and
126L(c) (3) of the Public Local Laws of Caroline County
being Article 6 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1965 Edition and 1975 Supplement, as aiended) be and
they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
Article 6
126A.
(j) Municipality means MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
FEDERALSBURG, a municipal corporation of this state.
126E.
The agency may not:
(3) [The power to appropriate] APPROPRIATE
funds, and [to] levy taxes and assessments pursuant to
Section 126C(c) of this subheading.
