Ordered, That the Speaker of the House appoint
Philip D. Geoghan carpenter of the House, he hav-
ing performed that duty since the commencement of
the session, and that his pay date from that date,
with proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by adding at the end of the order, ''at five
dollars per day, and in addition to his duties as car-
penter, he shall be keeper of the House Committee
Rooms, and shall keep the same in a cleanly con-
dition.
