The copy of the following resolutions was handed to the printer too late to be inserted
                                         in their place with the other resolutions.

     Arms to St.
John's college.
                                          No. 116.
     Whereas, the Visitors and Governors of St. John's College, have resolved
to establish a professorship for the instruction of the students of
the institution to the science of civil engineering and military tactics:
and the legislature being disposed to encourage them in the establishment
of such a professorship; Therefore,
     Resolved, That the governor and council be, and they are hereby authorised
to loan to the Visitors and Governors of the said institution, so
many and such arms as they may require, upon the said Visitors and
governors giving satisfactory security to the executive for the safe keeping
