enact the same with amendments. ' "

Mr. Carrol], from Committee on Insurance and
Loans, reported favorably,

House bill, File No. 453, entitled "An Act to add a
new section to Article 23 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title 'Corporations,' sub-title 'Insurance,' to
follow section 120, and to be designated as 'Section
120 A."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Hall, from Baltimore city delegation, reported
favorably, with proposed amendments,

House bill, File No. 765, entitled "An Act directing*
the Police Commissioners of Baltimore city to pay to
Edward F. Meehan, a former round-sergeant of the
Baltimore city police force, a pension of twelve dol-
lars per week."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In line 1 of title, strike out the word "directing,"
and insert in lieu thereof, "authorizing."
