This being the day prescribed by Section 14, Article
3, of the Constitution, for the meeting of the General
Assembly of Maryland, at 12 o'clock, noon,

Benjamin L. Smith, Chief Clerk of the House of
Delegates for January Session of 1902, called the House
to order.

Prayer was offered by Rev. J. Earle Maloy.
