Amendments proposed by Baltimore city delegation:

In line 3, section 1, after the word "Mayor," insert
"And City Council of Baltimore City."

In line 6, after the word "Conspicuous," strike out
"place on the front of his coat," and insert "place
upon the person so licensed."

In section 2, line 6, after the word "within" strike
out, "or in front of," and insert "one hundred and
fifty feet from."

In section 4, line 3, after the words, "shall be,"
strike out "twenty-five," and insert "fifty."

In section 5, line 5, after the word "fined," strike
out "ten" and insert twenty-five."

In line 6, section 5, after the word "imprisonment,"
strike out "not exceeding ten days," and insert "not
less than thirty, nor more than ninety days."

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Linthicum, from Baltimore city delegation, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill, File No. 55, entitled "An Act to define
certain duties of the city surveyor, elected under sec-
tion 2, Article 7, of the Constitution of Maryland, and
to fix his compensation therefor."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Charles, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably.

Senate bill, File No. 107, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Washington county to refund to Mrs. Clara Hamilton
of said county, a certain sum of money for taxes erro-
neously paid said County Commissioners by her."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Linthicum, from Baltimore city delegation, re-
ported favorably,

House bill, File No. 20, entitled "An Act to repeal
so much of section 6, Article 4, Public Local Laws as
relates to harbor, docks and wharves, and to re-enact
the same as amended, and to repeal sections 463, 464,
465, 466 and 476 of Article 4, Public Local Laws, and
to re-enact sections 463 and 464 as amended."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
